The renovation of the headquarters of the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona has been carried out in a building of great historical and patrimonial value, located in an emblematic area of the city.

SEROM executed the intervention with a meticulous approach, combining the preservation of original elements with the adaptation of the property to current functional and regulatory requirements. The work included architectural restoration, comprehensive renovation of facilities, and the adaptation of interior spaces, with special attention to constructive details and finishes. The intervention was developed in a context of high technical demand, ensuring compatibility between heritage conservation and the institutional use of the building. The result is a rehabilitated space that highlights architectural heritage, while incorporating contemporary solutions to improve its functionality, safety, and comfort, ensuring its continuity as a cultural landmark.
