Updates an emblematic building to adapt it to new standards for sustainable, flexible offices focused on people’s well-being.
The office building at Diagonal 197, located in Barcelona’s technological district, is part of the urban and business transformation process of this strategic city area. SEROM has participated in the rehabilitation and modernization of this building with the aim of adapting it to new standards for workspaces, sustainability, and user well-being.
The intervention has allowed for the updating of a landmark property, optimizing the functionality of its spaces and improving the technical and energy performance of the building. The project thus reinforces its role as a contemporary, flexible, and efficient workspace, designed to host innovative companies and professionals in a dynamic urban environment. It stands out for its sober and contemporary architecture, combining modular facades with large glazed surfaces. This configuration promotes natural light entry and creates spacious and comfortable interiors, aligned with new working methods and the demands for energy efficiency and sustainability.
